Consciously, because of the simplicity of the work itself, it is reduced to the title and in its representative aesthetic form. As such, it carries the lack of transparency.

Flaka Haliti (born in 1982 in Prishtina, Kosovo) lives in Munich and Florence. Haliti studied at the University of Prishtina and Städelschule, Frankfurt / M, and currently is working on her PhD at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. Her artistic practice is based on conceptual ideas and is linked to its critical analysis of the media and society; in her clear European perspective. Halit’s work is presented in places like MUMOK, Vienna; Kunsthalle Vienna, Vienna; Lenbachhaus and Kunstbau München; 6 Moscow Biennale, Moscow; Galerie für Kunst Zeitgenössische, Leipzig; Kunstverein Salzburg; Kosovo Art Gallery, Pristina; ZKM, Karlsruhe; Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin; and Portico, Frankfurt on Mein. In 2015, she represented Kosovo at the 56th Venice Biennale. She is the winner of the Villa Romana 2016 Prize, Ars Viva 2016, Muslim Mulliqi 2014 Prize, Henkel Art 2013, 54 – Salon October 2013 and Agriculture and Bank 2009.
