Ms. Fshazi has been leading the project to establish the Center for Openness and Dialogue, since March 2014. From the time of the COD’s creation in October 2015, she has held the position of General Director and has been part of the Prime Minister’s staff since September 2013, in charge of the Research and Communication Unit. For this position, Ms. Fshazi came over  from France, where she was Associate Researcher at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales and holds a PhD, which she gained in September 2012 in Paris with the dissertation “Morality, Loyalty and Citizenship: the organization of youth in interwar Albania”. Before starting the doctorate and work in Paris, Ms. Fshazi has lived in Istanbul for several years, where she did her master thesis on Nationalism and Globalisation: Albanian dilemma in the Balkans at the University Bogazici (Bosphorus). She has experience in scientific and cultural projects, management and administration, and is author of a series of scientific and newspaper national and international articles, and as a  translator, Ms. Fshazi recently published a photo-novel “How things meet”, presented at the Venice Biennale 2016.
